Accoyo America Voyager

We purchased Voyager in the 2008 Parade of Champions. He was one of three yearling males produced through a cross of Hemmingway-Accoyo Nautilus and three of the top Accoyo females at Accoyo America and Greg had tentative plans to use him in their stud row. He had the heaviest cutting fleece (9 lbs.) and the longest staple (7 inches) but was the most closely related to other working El Nino offspring herd sires, hence the decision to put him in the POC auction. His dam Minipani, an AOBA National Show White Color Champion, is El Nino’s full sister. Voyager is a robust, large male with heavy bone, and true-to-type head and topknot. His fleece is very dense and bright with long staple and exhibits independent bundling and pronounced character uniformly through the blanket front to back and well down into the belly. His progeny to date have exhibited very good density with fineness, excellent brightness and soft hand.
